I didn’t expect a pillow to change anything. After two kids and a desk job that’s slowly fused my neck to my shoulders, I’d made peace with waking up stiff.
The first thing that surprised me
It wasn’t the morning. It was 2 a.m. I usually wake up at least once and fight the pillow into a new shape. The first few nights with better neck support, I still woke up, but I wasn’t adjusting anything.
What changed by week two
My husband noticed before I did. I stopped waking up with that dull ache at the base of my skull, the one I used to chase with coffee until noon.
I’m not a doctor and this isn’t medical advice. But for me, the cheapest experiment I’ve run on my own health in years turned out to be the one that worked.
